Constitutionality of posthumous awards and public holiday

The pronouncement conferring posthumous awards on some distinguished and notable Nigerian citizens by virtue of their sterling contributions towards the enthronement of our nascent democracy has generated some controversies. It will be recalled that the annulled June 12, 1993 general
