‘National Assembly can enact law for establishment of Nomadic Livestock Development Commission’

The federal government recently suspended the planned establishment of RUGA settlements, following public outcry against the policy. In the concept, the government believes that with RUGA, incessant clashes between the herders and local communities, especially in the southern part of the country, would be checked.
