Kano sacks CMD, CMO for alleged extortion

Kano State Government has directed the immediate sack of two senior medical staff in its Ministry of Health for alleged extortion and related offences.The government had, weeks ago, removed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and eight medical doctors in one of the public health centres for negligence to duty.
