Africa’s leaning crisis and the digital divide
We commemorate thousands of young activists in Soweto, South Africa, who marched to protest the quality of their education on June 16 1976. Hundreds of them were shot dead for demanding their right to learn. Does today’s generation of children have a reason to feel similar anger at the state of their education? Certainly, young people have been taking to the streets to protest futures jeopardised by climate change and antiquated job markets.
