A 30-year-old teacher, Rebecca Joynes, is currently on trial at Manchester Crown Court. She is facing serious allegations of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
Court documents accuse Rebecca Joynes of having inappropriate relationships with two teenage boys, Boy A and Boy B. Allegedly, Rebecca Joynes groomed 15-year-old ‘Boy A’ by buying him a £345 designer belt before they had sex. Joynes reportedly told Boy A that “no-one better find out,” according to a statement he made to the police.
Furthermore, the court heard that Joynes became pregnant by Boy B while she was on bail for the alleged offences involving Boy A. This pregnancy serves as concrete proof, as it provides physical evidence of the alleged sexual relationship.

In an interview with the police, Boy A claimed that Joynes gave him her phone number with a missing last digit. He was able to figure it out. They began exchanging messages on Snapchat, and Joynes allegedly picked him up in her white Audi A1 car after school one day.
The boy told the police that Joynes laughed off his comments about not being old enough to drive. Subsequently, after their trip to the Trafford Centre, Joynes allegedly bought him a Gucci designer belt. Then, they went back to her flat at Salford Quays where they had sex twice.
Additionally, Rebecca Joynes sent a photograph of herself in underwear to Boy A.
Boy A claimed that Joynes later confessed to being pregnant with his child. He also mentioned that she gave him a scratch card from Victoria’s Secret, which contained various sexual fantasies she wanted them to act out. According to the teenager, Joynes created a romantic atmosphere in her flat by scattering rose petals for what he referred to as a “date night”. She also ordered food from Pizza Express.
In addition, the boy described a series of surprises left by Joynes, the final one being a baby onesie with the words “I love my daddy” printed on it, as per the court’s records.
Rebecca Joynes denies all charges and the trial continues.
