Tech1M sets to reduce global talent deficit with sponsored bootcamps

Tech1M, an initiative of Tedbree, has disclosed its intention to reduce the global talent deficit through sponsored boot camps worldwide. The initiative is set to accelerate the careers of the next million tech talents in the industry and provide significant growth opportunities for them.

Tommie Edwards, CEO of Tedbree, Founder of Tech1M, and an award-winning tech entrepreneur, stated that the initiative would address the talent gap in the tech industry. “There’s currently a global talent gap in the industry; by the next decade, there will be millions of jobs with little or no talent.”

Tech1M provides a community of technical skills bootcamps to upskill diverse talents and create job opportunities in the technology industry. Tommie added, “We have global tech experts who will cultivate and mentor upcoming tech talents and ensure they have a good part in the industry.

She added, “We believe in a world where the opportunities for growth that technology creates are available to everyone, regardless of their gender, age, race, or location. For this reason, our vision is to sponsor at least a million talents and significantly accelerate their careers.”

Through the Tech1M initiative, talents with little to no experience in technology will complete the Bootcamp training and get internship placement to standard companies in the tech space.

“We are currently collaborating with companies and individuals who share the same vision to ensure that every tech talent gets the opportunity to succeed in the industry,” the founder stated.
