In Defence Of Bobrisky
The Internet was literally on fire last weekend when news broke that popular cross dresser, Mr. Idris Okuneye now known as Bobrisky(how did he, sorry, she, arrive at that name sef) won the ‘Best Dressed Female’ at a Yoruba film premiere in Lagos and was given a cash prize.
Yoruba film stars took up arms against the producers/organisers of the movie and premiere event. And popular actress, Dayo Amusa led the charge. She queried why Bobrisky, a ‘man who turned to a woman’ would win a contest meant for women ONLY. She has been releasing video upon video statements since the rather demoralizing (her words) incident happened.
Controversial Afro pop singer, Portable aka Zazzu joined the fray and threw darts at both the producers of the movie and Bobrisky himself, sorry, herself.
Bobrisky has since replied Zazzu but T4T will have to apologise because all what he, sorry, she said in that voice notes are not suitable for either print or electronic media. So, kindly Google search it on Social Media if you really want to hear a true definition of vulgarity.
Now, here is T4T’s position. Bobrisky was a man (sometimes T4T even doubt that), he is now a woman and has been carrying on as a woman for years now. Bobrisky dresses like a woman, acts like one, talks like one and walks like one too. So, if he, sorry, she, out dressed REAL women at an event and won the top prize, don’t you think he, sorry she, deserves it.
Wait o, why is T4T having this feeling that the anger is not about Bobrisky’s sex here but that a supposed man out dressed women at a public function and clinched the prize?

That Actor’s Poor Acting At Crusade
THERE is a trending video of a once upon a time two bit Nollywood actor who went to a popular pastor’s (name withheld. Nor be T4T dem go go sue, wen shi shi im nor get) crusade abi na Sunday worship sef. That is not supposed to be news. Most Nollywood stars are seen in videos at different churches’ events, but you needed to see how this actor whose star dimmed even before it took flight was fooling himself upandan.
It was a very bad acting, and it came to many as no surprise why he did not grow from a three-scene actor in Nollywood. The pastor who is about the hottest in Africa at the moment in terms of performing ‘miracles’ never even talk, the bros don fall down. Haba! Can’t you follow a simple cue? And after the church ushers took him up, one expected him to wait for the Pastor to at least touch him or blow breeze on his face (as dem dey always do) before he falls again, whoosai! Before the ‘Man of God’ said, “something big is coming, I don’t know where it is coming from…” fiam, bros don fall scatter chairs again!
At a point, T4T got tired of watching the poorly scripted and acted short movie. Well, he only can wish the actor well. If what the Pastor said will come to pass, then, we should expect to see our bros in a blockbuster Hollywood movie before the end of the year, perhaps, he will be the first black James Bond!

What Did VeryDarkBlackMan Do This Time Around?
T4T woke up to the news of the arrest of a young man who he usually watches his social commentaries videos online. He goes by the name VeryDarkBlackMan. It was not his first time as guest of the police. There was a time T4T read in the news that controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike caused him to be invited by the police in Abuja over alleged cyberbullying allegations.
This time around, nobody, as at when T4T was writing this, knows the reason why he was arrested this time around but a video surfaced where the young man was heard making a very serious allegation against the top hierarchy of the police about a cross dresser, Bobrisky. If that was the reason why the VeryDarkBlackMan was arrested, then the burden of proof lies with the man who alleged but in T4T’s opinion, it was a serious allegation. You cannot claim that “DIGs of the police force dey nack Bobrisky” and you expect the police authorities to keep quiet and buy you candies. But then, nobody knows why he is in police custody as at press time and the police authorities are mum over the issue too. T4T always tells this generation of Internet users to be mindful of what they say online because there is a thin line between defamation and activism.
