Celebrity Boxing And Looming Danger
When the announcement was made of the recently held celebrity boxing match between weird Afro pop artiste, Portable, aka Zazzu and Nollywood star cum skit maker, Charles Okocha, most people thought it would be just some razzmatazz show filled with all noises and all.

But it turned out otherwise. It was almost real and at a point, T4T was scared while watching it online. Okocha and Portable pummelled themselves even though both were amateur boxers with little or no knowledge of the art of boxing, which made it even more dangerous as organisers of the event did not deem it fit to have them wear headgear.
Some even introduced an ethnic twist into the event, which ordinarily should have been a fun thing. Okocha is Igbo, or well, ‘Delta Igbo’, while Portable is Yoruba. Nigerians sha.
Now, Charles Okocha is asking for a rematch claiming the fight was rigged in favour of Zazzu. T4T fears the organisers would oblige him to gain more traction to open the flood gate for clashes among other celebrities.
Husband, no, sorry, partner (whatever that means) of Nollywood star, Iyabo Ojo, had placed on the table, millions of naira for Ojo to square up in the ring with fellow star, Liz Anjorin. It is noteworthy to mention here that there has not been any love lost between Ojo and Anjorin. The duo had been exchanging insults in recorded messages on Social media for years now. T4T does not need a soothsayer to tell him and many others that an Ojo and Anjorin in a ring is nothing but a war, if both accept the challenge.

While some folks are still trying to deal with the developing events, an Oyinbo professional boxer had thrown an open challenge to Nigerian online activist, VeryDarkMan. The prize money for the fight, the oyinbo boxer announced, was 10 million for the winner and 5 million for the loser. And why would a pro boxer throw such a challenge to a non boxer in the first place even though both may have had some heated social media exchanges? Has the oyinbo guy run out of opponents to fight in his Middleweight category? And if so, why don’t he go fight Anthony Joshua who is searching for opponents as he tries to fight his way back to the top in a serious effort to regain his world title belts he lost sometimes ago?
One strong note of warning: Charles Okocha should not be given a rematch with Portable. The result will not be palatable. Anjorin and Ojo should never be allowed to square up in a ring. At worst, both should shadow box in the safety of their living rooms and post the videos online for us all to watch. As regards the oyinbo boxer and VeryDarkMan fight, heaven knows that will never happen unless in a dream. Overall, this idea of celebrity boxing should be discouraged now that it has not gained enough fuel. T4T sabi Nigerians, dem sabi over do everytin. Small time, some people will plan a boxing contest between Pasuma and Burna Boy. Na so dis kain tin dey start.

Time For May Edochie To Move On (2)
Sometime ago, T4T was forced to give the estranged wife of Nollywood star, Yul Edochie, May, the advise to move on and live her life as it seems Yul may not be coming back home to her soon because fellow actor, Judy Austen, don kolobi am pata pata.
But either she did not read the advice or she totally ignored it because she has refused to let go. Every now and then, fiam, she will run to Social media and throw a jibe at Yul and Judy Austen. And Yul is not that kind of man who takes a jibe in his stride. The bros like quarrel pass fight.
The latest exchange between the two was when May wrote her new year/end of the year assessment post on Social media claiming last year, 2023 “stole my flesh and blood”. It was a direct reference to her troubled marriage to Yul. Instead of bros Yul to kuku read and waka pass the post, for wia, he decided to use a sledgehammer to respond to that small post by May.
“2023 stole your flesh & blood, but you still had enough time to do breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck without your husband’s consent. Obviously endorsed by your married boyfriend.”
“Enough of the manipulation. Stop manipulating people on social media to hate me and feel pity for you while you enjoy your life secretly, because they don’t know the real you. I will not take it in 2024.
I’ve been silent for too long. I’ve been doing my best to protect your image while you are doing all you can to destroy mine. Enough!”
These are very serious allegations from Yul against his estranged wife. And T4T is ready to bet that May Edochie will respond soon. E dey two of dem bodi. Sha, awa own na to siddon dey look dem.
