The importance of leadership and human relations in Adeola’s journey to becoming a entrepreneur and pastor

In a world that is increasingly complex, it is becoming more and more evident that the success of any venture is greatly dependent on the quality of leadership and human relations skills possessed by the individuals involved. Abolaji Adeola, a successful entrepreneur and lead pastor, has proven this to be true in his own journey.

Abolaji Adeola was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where he attended Olubusola Olumide Primary School, Igbobi College, and GreenlandHall College for his secondary education. However, his education did not stop there. After realizing the value of taking initiative and learning new skills, he took courses in tech and digital marketing during his time off from Babcock University.

It was this initiative that led him to his current position as the Pastor of the Choir-Spirit of Prophecy, where he led a team to create the hit song “Omo Baba.” He has also facilitated various trainings across Nigeria, played a major role in various marketing, entrepreneurial, commercial, political, and spiritual online initiatives, and became one of the youngest Zonal Pastors in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The church played a significant role in Adeola’s journey, where he honed his leadership and human relations skills. As a young Zonal Pastor in RCCG, he facilitated various trainings across Nigeria, which helped him in developing his leadership abilities. The church provided a platform for him to experiment with new ideas and make mistakes without fear of failure. According to Adeola, “The church is a place where you meet all manner of persons who you don’t pay, and you have no choice but to work with them. There, you will understand patience and human relations.”

Throughout his journey, Adeola has been inspired by the likes of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Pastor Leke Adeboye, Pastor Mattew Ashimolowo, Folorunsho Alakija, and Evang Mike Bamiloye. However, his biggest role model remains Pastor E.A. Adeboye. Adeola attributes much of his success to Adeboye’s leadership style, which emphasizes humility, patience, and compassion.

If Abolaji Adeola could go back in time, he would have started earlier and reached out to more industry leaders sooner. Nevertheless, his journey has taught him the value of leadership and human relations skills, which have been critical to his success.

Adeola’s success as an entrepreneur and Lead Pastor can be attributed to his unwavering commitment to leadership and human relations. His experiences in the church have taught him the value of patience, empathy, and teamwork, which have all been vital in his entrepreneurial journey. As he continues to make an impact in various sectors, including marketing, entrepreneurship, commerce, politics, and spirituality, he remains grounded in his values of servant leadership and human relations.
