The Oza Woman on runway

The OZA Women

It was a narrative of evolution as Mo’re Signatures took the elegant woman in “the oza room” to the runway with its ‘The OZA Woman’ fashion show to display all of her beautiful ‘Owambe’ collections in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria recently.

Inspired by the importance and richness of Africa parties especially in the Western Part of Nigeria, the Owambe collections showcases the grace and carriage that African wears symbolises during parties, bestowing on women the Rich Aunties and mummies vibes.

Remarking on the Oza Woman fashion show, the Creative Director and Founder of Mo’re Signatures, Mary Oluwaseun Akinbiodun said: “The fashion show was tagged “Rising Threads” to showcase innovative designers and celebrate emerging fashion brands.”

Mo’re Signatures boss also noted that her designs focus on infusing Africa Prints into contemporary styles, making simple and chic ready to wear outfits. “And as a Fashion Designer, I look forward to exploring making corporate wears with Africa Prints in a way that showcases where tradition meets innovation.”
