The name of Jesus Christ is a sweet name and when Jesus comes into your life, He sweetens it. He removes darkness and gives you peace that is not dependent on material things. Jesus makes a difference in anyone’s life. If any leader is a child of God, you will notice it in that leader’s governance.
The difference will be made clear because the name of Jesus cannot come into anyone’s life and that life will remain the same.
Jesus Christ is the only name that can handle any trouble in your life or the one you are currently facing. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus Christ said: “Come unto me all you that are carrying heavy burdens, and I shall give you rest.”
Jesus Christ’s name can make anything dead around you to come alive. After a crusade I organised in one of the places I pastored, a young convert came to me and said, there is a tree in our compound which has been there since I was born and it has never borne fruits at all, please come and pray for this tree to bear fruits.
You know how zealous new converts can be and they can put one into trouble. I believed him and went to the compound. We stood beside the tree and we were singing and clapping. Suddenly, the mother of the new convert came out and threw herself to the ground and laughed and said to his son, “this your religion will make you mad and are you saying that this tree that has been here before your father married me and has never borne any fruit that you will pray and it will bear fruits.”
The woman laughed at us to scorn, but we did not mind her. We called upon the name of Jesus Christ and after prayers I left. The following year, the tree began to bear fruits from the ground to every branch on it and there were fruits all over the place because the name, Jesus Christ healed the tree and healed the barrenness of the tree.
There is no trouble around you that the name cannot handle. Call upon His name anywhere, any day and on any situation by faith, the Lord will hear and answer you. Psalm 50:15 says: “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will answer you and you shall glorify me.” What is it that the name of Jesus Christ cannot do? Sometimes we limit ourselves by refusing to call upon that name. He can answer you.
Use that name any day and anywhere and you will see that He will answer you. The house of a brother in Christ caught fire and fire was burning everywhere. The gas cylinder was lying at one corner of the house and in one of the rooms was laying the newborn baby. The man was running up and down and did not know what to do.

Neighbours came around and they were doing all manner of things they know, but they were not able to quench the fire. The brother suddenly shouted the name of Jesus Christ and the fire quenched immediately. The brother gave God a new name and called God: “The Hand that extinguishes fire” which means in Igbo “Aka na aku nyu oku.”
The name of Jesus Christ does not expire. It is not a name that existed in 2001 and will not exist in 2023. It is a miracle-working name. Stop fearing and call upon that name and you will see miracles.
