Nigerian budding singer, Tochukwu Emmanuel Ejim, musically known as TJay Kartel, has made a comeback with a new song, titled, Eleweukwu 2.0, which he said would be dropping soon.
The singer who started his music career in 2009, in a statement, gave reasons he took a break from the music scene.
“I was exposed to other professions that I also showed interest in, and exhibited skills to match. I had to develop those other areas as well. So, for a while, music took a back seat, though I didn’t stop. I was mostly working behind the scenes and voicing/writing for other artistes while I pursued these other interests.
“This was also the time I lent my voice and services politically to certain challenges facing the people of my home state, Imo. I felt I had done enough in other areas, and my music was calling me non-stop. So I answered,” he explained
Asked what fans should expect from him moving forward, the E-Kebe crooner said: “My fans can expect the TJay Magic. The best of romantic, inspirational, feel good and highlife music.”
