The recent increment in the toll price by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at the Lagos airport toll plaza has caused traffic snarl at the axis.
FAAN had in recent time hinted of the increment in its fares through a billboard indicating the increment to include Cars-N300, Bus/SUV-N500, Trucks (six tyres)- N1000, while Trailer/Container-N2000 with effect from Saturday July 1, 2023.
But unknown to motorists, this increment had caused traffic snarl at the toll plaza as they struggled to comply with the new tariff.The traffic, which was observed by The Guardian on Monday and yesterday, has extended to parts of the International Airport road.
