The Transcend Conference 2024, hosted by Olamma Cares Foundation and Home Advantage Africa Women (HAA Women), marked a historic moment as it gathered over 200 women in Ibadan to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024. The transformative experience aimed at nurturing the mind, body, and soul to inspire personal and professional growth.
Themed “Breaking Barriers, Soaring Heights,” the conference featured engaging panel discussions, a dedicated Women’s Health Session, and insightful keynote addresses. Attendees delved into discussions around overcoming gender biases, leadership development, work-life balance, negotiation, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
The event also incorporated activities to promote overall well-being, including a mindfulness session, self-defence training, and accessible mental health counselling. The focus on mental health underscored the commitment to holistic empowerment.
Attendees gained knowledge and had opportunities to network, collaborate, and enjoy various activities. The conference fostered connections among diverse women, creating a supportive community.
The impact extended beyond the conference, with post-event offerings such as free social media management training, discounted digital courses, and mental health assessments. These initiatives aim to continue supporting women in their personal and professional development.
