Tribune Editor emerges President of Stallion Club

The newly elected President of Stallion Circle Club, Epe, Mr. Tajudeen Debo Abdulai, has announced plans to establish an endowment fund to support underprivileged students to pursuing their educational dreams.

Unveiling the initiative at the inauguration of the club’s new executive in Okebalogun, Epe, Abdulai personally donated N100,000 to kick start the fund, with the hope that it will provide scholarships, JAMB, and GCE exam fees for financially disadvantaged students in Epe.

Emphasising the club’s commitment to uplifting its community since its establishment in 1986, the Nigerian Tribune editor called on civic-minded individuals to contribute to the endowment fund to raise educational standards for the youth in the community.

He stated that the club’s objectives include “intervening on community issues, promoting development, and aiding the elderly and needy.”

The Vice President, Mr. Dele Imam assured that the new executives will build on the club’s legacy of service, stressing that members’ dedication to the club’s rules and ethics is key to achieving the club’s goals.

The association’s chief scribe, Mr. Nuhman Edu stated that membership is open to sons of Epe who share the dream of contributing to the growth and development of the town.

Past beneficiaries shared how the club impacted their lives. Mrs. Amudalatu Ajoke-Oluwa recalled receiving money and food from the club during the COVID pandemic. “I was so happy because it met my needs. Since that time, they have not relented in assisting me one way or another,” she explained.

Also, Mr. Ambaliu Borokini, who has also benefited from the club’s financial aid, wished the new executives well.

Dignitaries at the vent included a member of the House of Representatives, representing Epe Federal Constituency, Wale Raji; Chairman, Ibeju-Lekki Local Council, Abdulahi Sesan Olowa; Mr. Abiye Edu; and friends and family members, among numerous well-wishers.
