Triple Threat: Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Skye To Host The Oscars

Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Skye are on the verge of finishing up deals to host the 2022 94th Academy Awards on March 27. Although the stars are yet to confirm the reports, it should be recalled that it was reported that this year’s show will be a three-act show.

Amy Schumer, on Sunday, posted via her Instagram page a range of her biggest career achievements with a caption ‘‘Big fun news comin’’

It seems that these triple-threat hosts are the only MC scheduled for the show in March.

After 35 years of not having as many as 3 hosts, it will also be the first time that 3 females take charge of the event.

After handing out the Oscars by celebrities in 2019, 2020 and 2021, organisers aim to get hosts that can bring excitement to the show by keeping viewers locked to their seats. This development comes after the falling ratings for the show in recent years.

The all-female hosts who have been chosen have a wide range of appeal brushed up with comedy.

In 2015, Schumer, the comedienne, won an award for “Outstanding Variety Sketch Series” for her Comedy Central show ‘‘Inside Amy Schumer’’. She has received 12 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.

Skye is known for her roles in “Black-ish” “Down to Earth,” “Rio” and is the creator of Netflix’s “The Upshaws”. Skye has 14 Emmy nominations to her name.

Regina Hall has appeared in a number of films including “The Hate U Give” “Little” “Girls Trip,” and also won the New York Film Critics Award for best actress.
