Tshwala Bam: Burna Boy teams up with Titom, Yuppe, S.N.E for remix

Grammy-winning star, Burna Boy, has joined forces with South African artistes, TitoM, Yuppe, and S.N.E for the highly-anticipated remix of their global hit record, Tshwala Bam.

Social media platforms buzzed with excitement as rumours of the remix circulated, igniting fervour among fans worldwide. A leaked video clip showing the African Giant crooner collaborating with his South Africa colleagues during their recent visit to Nigeria intensified the anticipation.

Speaking on the collaboration, TitoM said, “To take the original to greater heights, we sought a collaborator with both global appeal and a commitment to enhancing the song’s original vibe. Burna Boy was the perfect fit.”

Yuppe added: “Working with Burna Boy was both nerve-wracking and exhilarating experience. He brought his unique touch to the track while ensuring a comfortable collaborative environment.”

Known for his ability to elevate tracks through remixes; Burna Boy infuses his signature flair into Tshwala Bam, following his successful remixes of hits such as Master KG’s Jerusalema, Asake’s Sungba, and DJ Tarico’s Yaba Buluku. Considering the impact those songs went on to have, the same outcome is very much on the cards for Tshwala Bam, which was released on Wednesday, May 15.

First released on February 23, 2024, Tshwala Bam and its accompanying dance challenge have captivated global audiences, amassing an unprecedented 11.5 billion TikTok views and over 100 million streams across DSPs. The track has dominated global charts, including No. 9 on Global Shazam charts and top spots on Spotify Viral charts in multiple countries.

It stands as the largest Amapiano record of 2024 and is poised to become the largest Amapiano record of all time, showcasing its ability to inspire, unite, and celebrate the talent and creativity of its creators.
