Two persons, a driver and a passenger, yesterday, lost their lives in a road crash along Iseyin-Ogbomoso Road, Oyo State. Iseyin-Ogbomoso Road is the major road that links Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso in Oyo State.
It was gathered that the 18-passenger bus conveying passengers from Iseyin enroute Ogbomoso somersaulted along the expressway. Some residents of Iseyin identified the driver as Alhaji Lukman Omipoleko Olope.
Confirming the incident, Sector Commander, Oyo State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Joshua Adekanye, said the incident occurred at Aworo Dada village. He added that a rescue operation was carried out by operatives of the vigilante and the Amotekun Corps.
