A lecturer at the Department of Physical Health Education, University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Dr Kamar Abdulkadir has been brutally murdered in his office.
Abdulkadir was killed on Sunday; his attackers are said to have sneaked into his office and attacked him with a knife and hammer. Intelligence sources, yesterday, told Zagazola Makama, a media analyst in the Lake Chad area that the victim was later found dead in a pool of blood with several injuries inflicted on his body.
The source said: “His hands were peeled off when he tried to stop the attackers from stabbing him. They also used a hammer to smash his head and his spinal cord, killing him instantly.” Makama said the killers also took away his vehicle and other valuables, adding that the authorities have begun to search for the suspects.
