Uzodimma names 44-man inauguration committee  

Imo State governor Hope Uzodimma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has approved a 44-man committee to oversee his second term swearing in ceremonies on January 15. According to a statement issued, at the weekend, by Declan Emelumba, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chris Anyanwu is to chair the panel, while the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Cosmas Iwu, is the co-chairman.

ALSO, Uzodimma has declared that he would not only sustain the tempo of his achievements of the past fours but triple the record this year.The governor said this while declaring 2024 as a year of action, prosperity, physical and mental wellbeing for Imo people and the entire country.

He made the disclosure in his statement at the New Year Church service/thanksgiving in his home Church, St. Rose of Lima, Omuma, in Oru-East council of Imo State. He used that opportunity to urge Imo people to come together to proffer solutions to their collective problem.

Uzodimma also assured that the performance of his administration in the past four years would be a child’s play when compared to what would happen in the next four years.
