A frontline educationist and School Proprietor in Lagos State, Dr Oladega Adebogun has showered glowing encomiums on President Bola Tinubu for the speedy rehabilitation of the Ikorodu-Imota-Itoikin-Epe Road.

In a statement by the Director, Public Relations, Caleb University, Mr Abimbola Olulesi, Adebogun expressed appreciation to President, for his unwavering support and commitment towards the completion of the rehabilitation of the road.

He affirmed that President Tinubu, by this singular action, had renewed the hope of residents and commuters in the community, who had virtually lost hope that the road, which was in a deplorable condition, would ever be repaired.
He recalled that the Ikorodu-Imota-Itoikin-Epe road, before the rehabilitation, ranked among the worst roads not just in Lagos State but nationally. “The road usually gets abandoned during the rainy season and had posed a recurrent nightmare to residents and commuters.

It was harrowing for road users to commute during vacation and festive periods,” he said.
According to him, completion of the rehabilitation has reduced travel time from two hours to less than 30 minutes.

Adebogun also commended the Minister of Works, Dr Dave Umahi, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Senator Adetokunbo Abiru for their various roles in the actualisation of the rehabilitation of Ikorodu-Imota road.
