VERBB makes striking debut as recording artist with “Palm Tree Paradise” EP

Nigerian music producer, singer-songwriter, and sound engineer, VERBB, steps into the limelight as a recording artist with the launch of his debut EP titled “Palm Tree Paradise.” This collection of five tracks intricately explores his enduring sentiments and pure love, weaving a narrative of intimacy, yearning, and affection.

The EP takes listeners on a journey through a spectrum of heartwarming emotions while paying homage to diverse perspectives of admiration and praise. “Palm Tree Paradise” not only builds upon the themes introduced in VERBB’s earlier releases like “Deja Vu” and “Your Body” but also expands the narrative canvas, drawing inspiration from the overarching ambiance of the entire project.

Born Adeyinka Francis Awolola, VERBB grew up surrounded by the sounds of iconic figures such as Dr. Orlandoh Owoh, King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Don Moen, and various other artists. His early affinity for music led him to become a self-taught music producer.

Entering the music scene in 2013, VERBB swiftly gained recognition for his work alongside notable artists like Zlatan, Jamopyper, Mayorkun, Chinko Ekun, and more. Reflecting on his journey, VERBB shared, “To be honest, I really did not want to release any personal song of my own. I’ve been producing as a professional for over 10 years now, but I thought of how much impact my music can have in the society as a whole, and of course, I would love to live up to my fullest potentials. That’s basically why I decided to take this path.”
