Verchi renews deal with Dream Empire Music, drops Amen

Popular Afrobeats singer, Verchi, has spun back into mainstream airwaves with his vibrant new jam dubbed, Amen. The song, which marks his debut release for the year, also commemorates the renewal of his record deal with Dream Empire Music.

The deal between Verchi and Dream Empire Music was cemented a few weeks ago and sees the singer benefit from more global distribution services, the label’s office said.


The singer who is known for his 2021 hit “My Lover” and “Mix Up Liquor” with label mate Majeeed — in 2022, rehashed his lyrical prowess in the prayerful bop. The song is an earnest prayer for God’s protection against enemies.

Speaking on his deal with Dream Empire Music, Verchi said: “I have been pushing with Dream Empire Music since 2020, and I’m glad to have this incredible team. They have been amazing and YES!; I’m excited to continue working with them. The deal is not an extension of the old one — but it includes working with a global distributor, and it also covers everything a 360-deal would and beyond a 360.”
