When the jury of the eight edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) begin their sitting for this years edition of the award, current President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Victor Okhai, will preside as Head Judge. The Africa Magic, the continent’s leading provider of local entertainment content, announced Okhai’s appointment as Head Judge.
A seasoned producer, scriptwriter, cinematographer, director and film consultant, Okhai, a one- time Presidential aspirant and candidate, is current National President of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN). He is founder and Director of IN-Short Film Festival, the biggest short film festival in Sub Saharan Africa, and a member of The Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee, NOSC.
