Viral TikTok Singer Cat Janice Passes Away at 31 After Battling Cancer

Cat Janice, a rising singer who found viral fame on TikTok, has sadly passed away at the age of 31.

Janice, whose real name was Catherine Janice Ipsan, had been battling a rare form of cancer called sarcoma since March 2022.

Janice initially gained recognition on TikTok for her music, particularly her song “Dance You Outta My Head,” which she dedicated to her seven-year-old son, Loren.

The emotional song resonated with many viewers, quickly going viral and propelling Janice into the spotlight.

Despite her diagnosis, Janice remained optimistic and continued to share her journey with her fans through social media.

She underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatment, but the cancer tragically returned earlier this year.

Janice bravely transferred the rights to her music to her son in January while receiving hospice care.

In a statement on their Instagram page, Janice’s family wrote that they were “eternally thankful for the outpouring of love” they had received.

“Cat saw her music go places she never expected and rests in the peace of knowing that she will continue to provide for her son through music,” they said. “This would not have been possible without all of you.”
