Wande Coal, Ruger, Magneto, Guchi, Eltee Skhillz, Qing Madi, DJ Picasso, DJ Nana and Hypeman Best have been named as headliners for the maiden edition of the African Independent Television (AIT) Music Plus Festival schedule for Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Good Beach Victoria Island, Lagos.

The music festival, a collaboration between the Mursty Adinoyi led Emrose Productions and the African Independent Television (AIT), will draw youths, millennials and Gen Zs together to have fun and be entertained. It would be broadcast live on AIT, AIT cloud TV and HitList ‘n Cruzin YouTube Channel.

According to a statement by the Executive Producer, Emrose Production, Mursty Adinoyi, the music festival is another avenue to discover talent as well as give upcoming artistes opportunity to showcase their talents, while further celebrating some notable music icons.

He added that the music festival also aimed to connect brands to the youth, expand content strategically, boost its popularity among the new generation, reach more customers and improve acceptance for more visibility.

“The festival would draw thousands of young people from varied backgrounds to the designated venue, thereby creating a bigger and wider range of influence for the sponsors. The festival would envision a live network party with over 5,000 people from varied backgrounds live at the venue and over 40 million viewers live on AIT network, ait cloud TV, HitList ‘n Cruzin YouTube Channel,” he said.

Speaking on the support of the Creative Industry Group (CIG) to the festival, its President, Felix Duke, said the CIG decided to support the festival because of what AIT stands for.
