We are bridging gap between traditional, digital marketing, says Abiodun, IMA founder

Network marketing, also known as MLM, is gaining popularity in Nigeria due to its low start-up costs and flexible work options. However, the industry has faced challenges, such as pyramid schemes and fraudulent activities. To combat negative perceptions, Nigerian network marketing professionals are promoting the industry positively, emphasising ethical practices and transparency.

Some professionals are also using digital marketing strategies to reach a wider audience. Overall, network marketing in Nigeria presents both opportunities and challenges, and individuals should approach it with caution and do their due diligence before joining any MLM company. With effort and the right strategy, network marketing can offer financial independence to Nigerians.

In a chat with Abiodun Victor Romiluyi, a successful Network Marketing Professional and Sapphire Manager, at a recent MLM conference, he shed light on the current state of MLM in the country.

“Network marketing has long been a controversial topic, often perceived as a get-rich-quick scheme or a dubious business model.

“However, for many individuals, network marketing represents a legitimate path to financial freedom and independence,” said Romiluyi.

Having leveraged his career to work with some top brands including Forever Living Products Intl, Romiluyi is on a mission to elevate the network marketing industry.

“My mission is to change the negative narrative surrounding network marketing and empower young people across Africa and the globe,” he said.

Romiluyi’s dedication to transforming lives through network marketing has led him to create the Income Mastery Academy.

“The Academy aims to modernise the network marketing industry by incorporating the use of digital marketing tools and automation, making it more accessible and efficient for new entrepreneurs,” he stated while revealing the blueprint of his new brand.

“The Income Mastery Academy primarily targets young people in Africa,” Romiluyi explained, “where economic opportunities can be limited. By providing access to digital marketing tools and training, I hope to equip the next generation of network marketers with the skills necessary to build successful businesses and secure financial independence.” He added, “The Academy has already made a significant impact, with numerous success stories among its graduates.”

Romiluyi’s success in the network marketing industry is a testament to the potential it holds for those who are willing to put in the effort and adapt to the ever-evolving digital landscape.

He said: “By shifting the focus from traditional network marketing methods to digital strategies, I am helping to redefine the industry’s image and make it more attractive to a new generation of entrepreneurs,” he explained.

“In an era where many young people are disillusioned by the lack of economic opportunities, my efforts to revolutionise network marketing are making a real difference.

“Through the Income Mastery Academy, I am equipping aspiring network marketers with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital landscape and build successful businesses.

“By embracing digital marketing and focusing on youth empowerment, I am helping to create a new generation of successful network marketers and redefine what it means to achieve financial freedom.”

As Romiluyi continues to break down barriers and change the narrative surrounding network marketing, his work serves as an inspiration to others looking to build a career in the industry.
