World Malaria Day: Orange Group reiterates commitment to eradicate malaria problem in Nigeria

The goal of World Malaria Day, observed annually on April 25, is to increase public awareness of the fight against Malaria and promote action to lessen its impact on suffering and mortality. Millions of Nigerians are in danger of contracting Malaria each year, making it a severe issue in the country.


According to the World Health Organization, Nigeria is home to the most significant number of malaria infections and fatalities worldwide. On this year’s World Malaria Day, the company is renewing its pledge to help reduce the burden of Malaria and beyond. This year’s World Malaria Day theme is “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement.”

The Group Media and Communications Director, Uchenna Ezenna-Gbonemehas assured that Orange Group Nigeria is dedicated to keep up its fight against the disease by spreading awareness and providing its innovative and cutting-edge anti-malaria medication and repellent cream. “At Orange Group, we recognize that the fight against Malaria requires a multidisciplinary approach involving the development of effective treatments and implementing preventive measures. That is why we have invested heavily in research and development to create innovative products that can help prevent and treat Malaria.
