Young Jonn wears his singing hat with Dada

Whenever you are at any social gathering, chances that you would hear the signature line, “It’s Young Jonn the wicked producer,” are rife. Born Udomboso John, the musical whiz built a solid discography, over a decade, which bootlegged the careers of many A-list acts including Kizz Daniel (Ello Baby), Naira Marley (Mafo), Olamide (Story For The Gods), and so on.

Now, with Dada, the chocolate city signee moulds a vibrant persona as a singer, working with the same building blocks that skeletoned his productions.

The award-winning producer-cum-singer spins off an interesting story on love, soaking his lyricism in love adulations and poetic songwriting. Producing the song himself, Young Jonn flaunts his versatility and depth of skill in this romantic Afro-pop record.

The song is an instant fan-favourite that flushes with feel-good vibes and a catchy repetitive hook that would easily stick in lips, minds and hearts.

Speaking to Weekend Beats, Young Jonn explained the inspiration behind the record. “Dada is an open expression of my artistry and how I can make so much beautiful music.”

He also disclosed that Dada is the load single off his upcoming EP dubbed,  Love Is Not Enough Vol. 1, which is expected for release on April 1.
