Eroton appoints Ebiaho as new helmsman

The Board of Directors of Eroton Exploration and Production Company Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ebiaho Emafo as the company’s new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from March 1, 2016.

The Board of Directors of Eroton Exploration and Production Company Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ebiaho Emafo as the company’s new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from March 1, 2016.

Emafo succeeds Chima Ibeneche whose tenure as CEO ended on February 29, 2016. Ibeneche however remained with the company for a transitional period ending on  April 30, 2016.

Prior to this new appointment, Emafo was an Executive Director in charge of the company’s services department.

In this role, he led the Supply Chain Management, Health Safety and Environment, Human Resources, Information Technology and the External and Government Relations teams.

Emafo brings to his new role a wealth of over 25 years experience garnered across diverse industries such as oil and gas (upstream and downstream), manufacturing, telecoms and public sector having served in organisations such as Total Upstream, Oando Plc, Lafarge SA, Airtel and the United Nations, in locations such as Nigeria, United Kingdom, USA, the Netherlands, Malawi, Ghana and Uganda.

His career has seen him serve in multi-disciplinary capacities ranging from Commercial Negotiations to International Supplier Management; Cost Control Management; Logistics and Distribution Management; Business Transformation and Change Management; People Management; Budgeting and Cost Efficiency Improvement both in Nigeria and Internationally.

Emafo has a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Benin and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wales College of Cardiff. He also has an MSc. In Logistics & Supply Chain Management obtained from the Cranfield University School of Management.

Eroton Exploration and Production Company Limited is a leading Nigerian indigenous oil and gas exploration and production company. It is the operator of the OML 18 Joint Venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC. Eroton has its operational base in Rivers State and is headquartered in Lagos Nigeria.
