Entrepreneurship is a hard egg to crack for most people; they just cannot seem to make it work. In fact, statistics from Bloomberg show that eight (8) out of 10 new businesses fail in their first year. One of those who have got a hang of the entrepreneurial terrain is Public Relation (PR) guru, Nike Fagbule who since starting her PR agency in 2013 has gone on to found two more companies and seem not giving up in her pursuit of excellence.

Starting and sustaining one company in Nigeria is a load of work but for Fagbule, founder and CEO of one of Nigeria’s biggest PR agencies, Zebra Stripes Networks, successfully managing three companies means entrepreneurship is cool and is the best thing to consider

Fagbule said that, “being female and a leading entrepreneur are the same for her; she sees no difference, an outlook that has undoubtedly helped her go faster. She doesn’t care about her gender, she just wants to get work done, and she does get work done.

According to her, two of her biggest influences are: Ayeni Adekunle, founder of Black House Media, who is also her first and only boss, and American writer/filmmaker, Shonda Rhymes.

“Running a PR firm is only a piece of cake if you hire the right people and constantly bring your A game for each client.

My best entrepreneur quote is: “Just Do It”.
