The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said it has trained over 500 special force personnel in asymmetric warfare in the past six months.

The third batch of the trainees comprising officers, airmen and airwomen, graduated from its Regiment Training Centre (RTC) in Kaduna. The eight-week specialised training was facilitated by an Israeli military training organisation, Four-Troop Limited, in conjunction with NAF instructors at RTC.

According to a statement, NAF’s spokesman, Air Vice Marshal Olatokunbo Adesanya, in Abuja, at the weekend, said the training was designed to meet contemporary security challenges as well as add value to the defense architecture of NAF, thereby enabling the continuous projection of air power.
