The Christians United For Israel (CUFI) has appealed to the Federal Government to hasten the release of the remaining Chibok girls under Boko Haram’s captivity.

The organisation made the appeal during its end of the year dinner in Kaduna at the weekend, calling on the government to explore the dialogue approach earlier mooted, while maintaining military option to rescue the remaining girls .

Speaking to journalists at the event, the executive secretary of CUFI, Reverend Samson Ozovehe, lauded the Federal Government and security agencies for the continuous search and rescue of the kidnapped girls since 2014.

He urged government not to rest on its oars until the remaining girls were released and returned to their parents.

“Government effort to rescue the Chibok girls through dialogue is one of the surest ways to save them.

“There is so much we can settle with dialogue, because it was through negotiations that we got back the Chibock girls that were released. So I want to encourage the government keep up the pressure.
