Sokoto State Governor, Dr. Aminu Tambuwal, yesterday, in Asaba, Delta State, called on aggrieved Niger Delta Avengers to sheathe their sword and embrace dialogue with the Federal Government, as part of measures to enhance ongoing economic reforms.

The former Speaker, who was in Asaba to felicitate with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Delta at 25, stressed the need to eschew violence by the Avengers’ group, adding that Nigeria needs peace and stability to overcome current economic challenges.

He said the creation of the Delta State has brought development to its citizenry, especially the Okowa SMART Agenda, aimed at bringing prosperity to Deltans.
