The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, has again reversed himself on the fuel scarcity, saying that foreign exchange was responsible for the scarcity.

The minister, while answering questions from journalists yesterday in Yola, said that the administration is working assiduously to put an end to the economic crisis in the country.

The minister, who is in the state for the wedding ceremony of the governor’s eldest son yesterday, embarked on a tour shortly after arrival in the state to ascertain the level of development the state has witnessed since Governor Jibrilla came to power.
Mohammed, who said that the present administration has no excuse to ensure that it delivered the dividends of democracy to Nigerians, pointed out that as a responsible government, the people of Nigeria must expect the best from the government. He said that very soon the local refineries would resume full productions to ensure that the crisis of fuel scarcity is put to an end.
