The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has alleged that the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Justice Adamu Kafarati, ran out of his court yesterday when the group’s lawyers arrived.

A statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said the judge ran away when the lawyers stormed the court to challenge the proscription order by a Federal High Court, Abuja.

The statement reads: “The IPOB, under Nnamdi Kanu, wish to alert well-meaning Nigerians and the world that the Chief Judge, Justice Kafarati of the
Federal High Court, Abuja ran out of his seat and duty when the IPOB team of lawyers stormed the court.

“We wondered why the chief judge would be out of his seat, when he was aware that a team of lawyers had arrived to challenge the concocted order obtained against its clients.”
