VC Congratulates Ajimobi

UNIVERSITY of Ibadan Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole has congratulated the newly re- elected Governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi on his victory in the 11 April gubernatorial election, describing the success as “well – deserved and rewarding”, given the achievements of the governor in his first term in office.

Prof. Adewole in a congratulatory letter he personally signed noted that the result of the election was an acknowledgment of the fact that the people of Oyo State appreciated the giant strides the governor has been taking to deliver the dividends of democracy at their doorsteps, which
“they can all see, feel and appreciate all the time”.

He urged the governor to increase the tempo of his creative style of his administration during the second term so as to take the state to higher heights.
