A group, Reclamation Mandate has called on former Senate leader and Chairman, Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba to contest for a senate seat in the 2019 elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A group, Reclamation Mandate has called on former Senate leader and Chairman, Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba to contest for a senate seat in the 2019 elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group, in a statement by the Convener, Mr Edo Owan, said Ndoma-Egba’s sterling performance at the National Assembly while representing Cross River Central was notable, which was why they want him back at the senate.

“When a lawmaker representing his people goes beyond law making to attract projects that are dear to his people, then that representative shows the concept of efficient and effective representation,” he said. The group said the former senate leader should return because he could be trusted with their mandate, aside that he is accessible, which is lacking since he left.
