3 Types Of Coconut Rice Recipes


Coconut Rice is a delicious and fragrant dish that’s easy to prepare. Even though there is a basic recipe to make the dish, here’s other recipes to try out when next you consider making Coconut Rice:
Recipe 1: Coconut Milk and Jasmine Rice

Ingredients:

2 cups jasmine rice
1 3/4 cups water
1 can coconut milk (13.5 oz)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions
1.Rinse the rice several times with water until the water runs clear.

2.In a medium pot, add the rice, water, coconut milk, salt, and sugar. Stir to combine.

3.Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

4.Once the rice comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

5.After 15-20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for an additional 5-10 minutes to absorb any remaining liquid.

6.Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 2 cups coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup water1 teaspoon salt
