During a discussion with fellow housemates, Seyi said that he would encourage his sons to “run train” on people’s daughters. According to dictionary.com, “to run train (or run a train) refers to when multiple men have sex with a woman one after the other, with or without consent.”
This comment has been widely condemned by viewers and social media users, who have accused Seyi of promoting rape culture and objectifying women.
Seyi has also spoken of his desire to “slap” fellow housemate Ilebaye. Viewers are calling for him to be disqualified from the show.
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has also condemned Seyi’s comment, calling it “harmful” and “contributing to a culture of violence and abuse.” The DSVA has urged viewers to report any instances of violence or abuse to the agency.
It remains to be seen what actions Big Brother will take towards the comments made by Seyi.
