Evan, who commenced his acting journey as a child with numerous TV appearances in the early 2000s, is most prominently remembered for his portrayal of Jesse Fitzgerald, Cameron Diaz’s eldest child, in the 2009 film “My Sister’s Keeper,” an adaptation of Jodi Picoult’s novel.

In addition to his starring role in the sitcom “Complete Savages,” Evan also had a recurring role as Kyle Harmon, the son of David Caruso’s Horatio Caine, in “CSI: Miami,” spanning 18 episodes over three years.

In a 2009 interview, Evan reflected on his childhood spent in the limelight, stating, “I never had the same [childhood] experience with my friends. I never had more time with them. However, my childhood was a cool one. I was busy doing the things I love. I had no regrets because I found my passion for acting early on.”
