Richard Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as A.Y., has shared motivational quotes ahead of the film premiere of The Waiter.

The Guinness World Record holder, in an Instagram post, admonished fans to stay focused in their pursuit of goals and to be wary of some of the advice they receive.
AY added that people’s advice these days often stems from a place of hurt and bitterness.
“Be careful whose advice you take… Some advisers are speaking from a place of hurt and bitterness. Remember the woman whose child died? She told King Solomon, ‘Split the child!’ Why? She wanted everyone to lose,” he wrote.
The comedian and film producer notes that people with insecurities often project those insecurities onto others as a means to drag them down but urges fans to push on to success.

A.Y. said, “Such people often project their insecurities onto others, hoping to drag them down to their level. Their motivations can stem from jealousy, fear of competition, or a desire for validation.
“They may engage in gossip, sabotage, or discouragement, attempting to make others feel less capable… Ultimately, it’s crucial to rise above their tactics, remain focused on our goals, and celebrate the successes of others. By doing so, we not only strengthen our own character but also contribute to a more supportive and positive community.”
A.Y. announced his upcoming film, The Waiter, a month ago and said it has begun shooting in Abuja. The premiere is in December of this year, and fans and friends alike are highly anticipating this one.
