President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the fourth most talked-about person in 2024, as Nigerians dominate the ‘30 Most Talked-About Africans’.

The 2024 list is a definitive ranking that shows individuals who shaped conversations across social media and global platforms.

Tinubu and industrial magnate Dangote emerged as notable mentions on the list, compiled using advanced social media tracking and Google Analytics by ‘The Social Chart’

18 Nigerians make the list, which also featured former Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Ob; dethroned African player of the year, Victor Osimhen; and Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham and Sharon Ooja.

The annual list is selected from January 1 to November 3, 2024.

Kenya’s President William Ruto and Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido followed closely, clinching the second and third spots, respectively.

Other standout names included South African singer Tyla Seethal and Kenyan politician Raila Odinga.
