Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, better known as Do2dtun, A.K.A. Energy Gad, has officially retired from his 20-year career as an On-Air Personality (OAP).

He made this known on January 23, 2025, via his Instagram page: “20 years on radio… It’s time to say goodbye. It’s time to leave what I loved and would always love”, he wrote.

Do2dtun joined the radio station, Cool FM, in 2004, and has since been a vibrant on-air personality for anything entertainment and music. He was not only a great OAP but also a very energetic hypeman.

During his service to Cool FM, he has championed shows like Cool Nigerian Vibe, Superstar Wednesday, and Office Concert.

Following Do2dtun’s retirement from active service to Cool FM, the radio station has taken to their Instagram page to bid him farewell as he journeys on to success.

“Cool FM bids farewell to an illustrious colleague, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode Aka Do2dtun, the Energy Gad, who has left an indelible mark on the institution… Please join us in celebrating his remarkable tenure.”

Beyond radio, Do2dtun carved a niche as a TV host on Soundcity TV and the CEO of Ecleftic Entertainment, a record label supporting emerging Nigerian talent. He also earned accolades, including the 2015 Nigerian Entertainment Award for On-Air Personality of the Year.
