Gospel singer, Akinade Ibuoye, popularly known as Gaise Baba, has described Pastor Lawrence Oyor’s spiritual grace as “dangerous and ridiculous” while reflecting on their recent music collaboration.

He made the statement during a sit-down interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, while discussing the remix of his hit gospel song ‘No Turning Back’ which features Oyor.

According to Gaise Baba, the idea for the remix came from Pastor Oyor himself who reached out because of how much he loved the original song.

He said, “I didn’t go to him for the remix. Technically, he came to me for the remix. He loved the song and when we met he was like let’s do something about it, I was surprised.”

He further described Oyor’s spiritual gift as intense, saying, “He has a dangerous and ridiculous anointing. He’s from an interesting heritage of deliverance ministry, and God has added wisdom to it. So now it is not raw anointing, it’s refined and packaging. There’s wisdom and excellence attached to his raw anointing, and that’s a dangerous combination.”

The remix of ‘No Turning Back’, released in May 2025, has since gone viral across social media platforms with several celebrities and gospel fans participating in the challenge.

Oyor, who leads the Davidic Generation Church, is known for his deep worship sessions and deliverance-style ministry which resonates strongly among young Christians.
