Liberian-American artist Bexter Richardson, popularly known as Bex, is emerging as a transformative figure in the global music landscape, blending Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and R&B while expanding his influence beyond the studio. His journey from Liberia to Baltimore and Nashville reflects a fusion of cultural heritage and musical ambition, positioning him as a bridge between continents and genres.

Richardson’s career extends beyond music. As the founder of Fourscore Technologies, he is pioneering innovations in cybersecurity, cloud services, and network engineering, demonstrating a rare intersection of artistry and technology. At the same time, through his indie label, LiBx Records International, Bex is shaping the future of Afrobeats in the U.S. and globally, promoting fusion sounds that resonate across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

In 2020, Richardson launched the LiBx Records Foundation, focused on mentoring and rehabilitating street children and at-risk youth. The foundation underscores his mission to leverage music as a tool for social transformation, combining education, mentorship, and community support to create lasting impact.

Bex’s musical output also reflects his lived experiences. His single “Marry Me,” inspired by a wedding he attended, explores themes of love, commitment, and the complexities of modern marriage. The track has gained traction on platforms from Rhythm FM to Lagos, blending emotive storytelling with infectious rhythms.

Richardson’s engagement with fans and communities demonstrates his commitment to giving back. During a campus visit to the University of Lagos, he distributed food and support, reinforcing music’s role as a vehicle for hope and unity. As he prepares to expand his performances in Ghana and across Africa, his work continues to connect Liberia, Nigeria, Kenya, and the United States.

Under the ethos of B3X—Being Excellent, Being Exciting, and Being an Example—Richardson emphasises the transformative power of music. His career reflects a fusion of artistry, social advocacy, and entrepreneurship, positioning him as an indie artist whose influence extends far beyond entertainment.

Richardson’s journey illustrates how music can act as a bridge, connecting cultures and inspiring change. Through his work with LiBx Records and the LiBx Records Foundation, Bexter Richardson continues to redefine what it means to be an independent artist in today’s global music ecosystem
