Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ebenezer Olaolu Mabinuori, known professionally as Ebonny Musik, has released his debut extended play (EP) titled Unstoppable, marking a new phase in his artistic journey. The project, released in May 2025, features five tracks that merge reflective songwriting with contemporary Afrobeats and Afro-Urban rhythms.
Running just 14 minutes, Unstoppable presents Ebonny as a musician intent on carving a distinct identity in a competitive industry. The EP opens with Feelings, produced by D’Tunes, where minimal production highlights Ebonny’s emotive vocal delivery. The track introduces the EP’s thematic core — an interplay between introspection and rhythm.
The second track, Good Days Bad Days, explores optimism through moments of struggle. With its mid-tempo rhythm and catchy refrain, it blends personal reflection with an accessible, upbeat tone.
Romantic expression takes the foreground in Sweetest, a collaboration with vocalist Christian Jude. Their duet, marked by vocal chemistry and melodic layering, gives the song a warm and textured sound. Jude returns on One Life, which closes the project with themes of endurance and hope, reflecting Ebonny’s emphasis on persistence.
Between these, Whine 4 Me offers a rhythmic detour — a dance-driven track that introduces lightness to the EP without breaking its emotional thread.
Speaking about the project, Ebonny said Unstoppable represents his personal and creative resilience. “It’s about perseverance and purpose,” he explained. “I want my name written in bold letters in history. I’m coming for the Grammy.”
The production across the EP remains intentionally sparse, relying on clarity rather than density. Each track maintains a balance between Afrocentric rhythm and contemporary sound design.
Critics have noted that Unstoppable signals a deliberate artistic direction, positioning Ebonny among a new generation of Nigerian artists blending lyrical depth with modern soundscapes.
Now available on major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and Audiomack, the EP introduces Ebonny Musik as an emerging voice in Nigeria’s evolving Afro-Urban scene — one intent on shaping a sound grounded in authenticity and long-term vision.
