Nollywood actress and comedian Wofai Fada has announced that she is expecting another child with her husband, Taiwo Cole, suggesting the couple is set to welcome their second child together.
She shared the news in a birthday message to her husband, describing the pregnancy as the start of a “new chapter” in their relationship while expressing gratitude for their journey.
“New chapter, same love story. Love makes the belly go round. There are too many things to be grateful for. God has been faithful. God has been good to us,” she wrote. She added, “Happy birthday to the man who makes my world complete. I’m so grateful for every moment we share… Our princess is gonna be a big sister.”
Her reference to their daughter becoming a big sister indicates the couple is expanding their family, although she did not disclose further details about the pregnancy or expected due date.
The announcement comes nearly two years after their May 2024 marriage, which attracted public attention beyond the entertainment industry.
At the time, the union sparked controversy after a statement widely circulated online and attributed to the family of Taiwo Cole distanced them from the marriage, claiming they neither approved nor recognised it.

The statement read: “This is to notify the general public that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, is unaware of any marriage between our son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole, and Miss Wofai Ewa Fada.
We wish to state that we did not give our consent to this union and we do not recognise it.
Any claims or reports suggesting otherwise should be disregarded.”
The development triggered reactions on social media. Despite the backlash, both Wofai Fada and Taiwo Cole maintained their relationship publicly and did not engage in extended exchanges over the issue.
By May 2025, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary, signalling that the earlier controversy had not disrupted their union.
The pregnancy announcement now points to a new phase for the couple, who have continued to share moments of their life together despite early scrutiny surrounding their marriage.
