Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has publicly welcomed Manny, the fiancé of her daughter, Meraiah Ekeinde, into the family.
Omotola praised Manny in an Instagram post on Sunday, describing him as a God-fearing, kind and intentional man.
The actress shared photographs of the newly engaged couple together in matching white outfits.
She wrote, “Damn ! Show me a More good looking couple Right Now :joy:
“Dear Manny, you are God fearing , Kind and intentional . What’s not to absolutely Love about you! What a Man !
“You both are so fit for each other . Kind hearted , Soft and Bugee :sweat_smile: we Love you . Congratulations! “We can’t wait for #MxM26 !”

The message marked Omotola’s first detailed public statement about her daughter’s fiancé.
It also showed her approval of the relationship and excitement about the couple’s expected wedding.
Although the family has not announced the wedding date or venue, the hashtag “#MxM26” appears to combine the couple’s initials and the expected wedding year.

In an earlier post on Sunday, Omotola had celebrated the engagement while sharing another video of the couple.
She wrote, “Stop press ! Have you Heard ? My Twinnie is Engaged ! “I Guess we have a Wedding to plan ! .
Congratulations to the Love Birds.”
Meraiah, also known as Mimi, had announced her engagement two days earlier with a post captioned, “New chapter.”
The 26-year-old apparel product developer is the second daughter of Omotola and her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a pilot.

Omotola and Matthew married in 1996 and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary earlier in 2026.
The couple have four children: Princess, Meraiah, Matthew and Michael.
Their son Matthew is popularly known as MJ or Captain E.
News of the engagement drew congratulatory messages from Omotola’s colleagues, fans and followers.
Kemi Adetiba wrote, “Awwwwwww…. Congratulations, O. May God perfect all that has to do with your family and this joyous occasion.”

Linda Osifo added, “This is so beautiful. Congratulations to them and you mama.”
Omotola, a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, has regularly shared moments from her family life with her followers.
The actress married at 18 and welcomed her first child the following year while building what became one of Nollywood’s most successful careers.
Meraiah’s engagement marks another major family milestone for the actress, who recently celebrated three decades of marriage.
