Yesterday March 23 2016, there was a protest in Ikeja in support of the gender equality bill. The protest was put together by Laila Saint Matthews and some concerned women. The information was passed across on Facebook for anyone who wanted to join the protest and surprisingly people turned up independently from all parts of Lagos and other groups joined in too. It had already started when Rita Dominic joined in.
